At one time, most people owned dogs in the United States. Then cats started to grow in popularity, but what really boosted the popularity of cats wasn’t just women adopting them, but men.
In the past year, the Food Manufacturers’ Association says one million more men adopted cats. Whether dogs are too much trouble or that men are starting to see the benefits of a cat, the shift towards cat ownership continues to grow. Perhaps one day cats will take over the world just like they’ve already taken over the Internet.
