Many kids nag their parents for a pet. Usually children want a pet but then forget about the fact that they have to take care of it. What usually happens is that after the initial euphoria wears off, the kids ignore their pet and force their parents to care for it instead.
To avoid this problem, a Japanese toy maker has introduced a robotic cat toy. This robot cat can follow children and play with them like a real cat, but unlike a real cat, it won’t claw the furniture or shred a child’s arm if the child is too rough with it.
