During a baseball game between the St. Louis Cardinals and the Kansas City Royals, a cat ran across the field, temporarily halting play. When ground officials grabbed the cat, play resumed and that’s when a Cardinals batter hit the next pitch for a grand slam home run, giving the Cardinals the lead and ultimately the game.

Cardinals fans naturally loved the cat, nicknamed Rally Cat. However a woman claimed the cat but lost it. Now officials have tracked down and captured the Rally Cat.

Hopefully the Cardinals will be able to support the Rally Cat for good luck in future games. If the Rally Cat can help a sports team win a game, perhaps every country in the world should adopt a cat to help them maneuver global politics to their own advantage as well.
