New Zealand’s Prime Minister owns a cat named Paddles. Strangely, Paddles seems to have opposable thumbs. Perhaps that’s why it’s not a mystery that Paddles has a Twitter account.
Paddles has apparently fired off hundreds of tweets in a matter of days under a Twitter bio that says she is an “Independent cat- not affurliated with the Labour pawty”. Not surprisingly, Paddles is the latest Internet sensation and probably the only time people want to see a world leader on Twitter every day.
