Usually it’s easy to tell the difference between a cat and a dog. However, that’s not always the case with Snookie, a three-year-old Persian, diagnosed with hypertrichosis. This congenital defect, known as ‘werewolf syndrome’, creates an abundance of hair, giving Snookie the appearance of a dog.

Fortunately, Snookie’s owner regularly grooms Snookie to keep the hair out of her eyes and leaving her fur more manageable. Perhaps Snookie’s defect is what caused some people to create the myth about werewolves, but Snookie is at least cuter than the average werewolf.
