Michael Korda’s wife, Margaret, was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. In her last year of life, Michael decided to keep her amused by sketching cartoons of their cats on the back of old manuscripts in the tackroom.
Michael says the cats knew his wife was dying so there would always be one in the room with her. Now that his wife is gone, Michael decided to publish his cat cartoons in a book so that others could learn from his experience.
