When rescuers freed a cat that had been impaled on the tops of a metal fence post, they were hoping the cat would survive. Thankfully, the cat not only survived, but will make a full recovery.
That’s when 27-year-old Shanakei Forde claimed the 4-year-old cat named Skittles. Apparently Skittles had gone missing over the weekend so Forde made posters to place around the neighborhood. That’s when Forde learned that her cat had been found and was the cat that had been impaled on the fence posts.
Fortunately, Skittles survived the ordeal and is back at home. Skittles will likely avoid fence posts in the future after using up at least one of its nine lives.
