The Keyboard Cat has been a popular Internet meme for decades, but the original cat was named Fatso and owned by Charlie Schmidt. Since the Keyboard Cat had proven so popular, Charlie rescued another orange tabby that he nicknamed Bento, and Bento took over the role of the Keyboard Cat.
Unfortunately after eight years, Bento passed away. Fortunately, the Keyboard Cat meme will never go away. Let’s hope that Charlie finds another loving cat to take on the role as Keyboard Cat 3.0.
