Many countries love cats and spoil them such as Turkey and Italy, but now there’s a new country that’s vying for the lead for the happiest country for cats. That country is Essaouira in Morocco.
Because Essaouria is on the coast, there are plenty of fishermen and wherever there’s fishermen, there’s plenty of fish. That means cats in that city can cheerfully dine on fresh sardines, barracudas, and eels. With such a rich food supply and mild weather, the cats have an easier life than most humans around the world.
