Northern Nevada has a huge problem. The Nevada Humane Society says that summer is their busy season and they’re currently caring for 400 kittens. The Humane Society’s Community Director, Betsy Aguiar, said they need, “Litter, cat food, wet food for the kittens, and things to make their lives a little easier, things like heating pads – rice, socks – to make those heating pads.”

Even if you don’t live in the Northern Nevada area, you can still help out by donating money or sending supplies to the shelter. If you do live in the area, consider adopting one or more kittens if you can give them a good home. That way the shelter will have more resources for their remaining kittens.
