If you want to live a life of ease, just look at what your cat does. While it helps to have someone else pay all the bills, do all the work, and obey your commands, one reason why cats have such a good life is because they take frequent cat naps.

Now scientists have confirmed that cat naps are good for you. A study by the University of California found that after a 90-minute daytime sleep, volunteers performed better in complicated written tests than those who were kept awake.

The study leader, Dr Matthew Walker, says: ‘At a neuro-cognitive level, it moves you beyond where you were before you took a nap.’

So take a nap just like your cat. Then if your boss complains, just ignore him or her like a cat would do. (Then hope someone will adopt you after you lose your job.)
