Summer time means warm temperatures. For cats, these warm temperatures can be especially uncomfortable when your;’er walking around in a fur coat. That’s why it’s important to make sure your cat can stay cool no matter what the temperature might be.
Some simple ways to keep your cat cool is to place a fan on the floor so the cat can lay next to it if it wishes. Also freeze a block of ice in a plastic water bottle and wrap it in a towel. Then place this cooling item in your cat’s favorite lounging area so it can snuggle against the cool water.
Of course, don’t forget to give your cat access to plenty of cool, fresh water every day. In fact, make sure your cat is more comfortable than you because if your cat is happy, then you will be happy.
