England has several official mousers at 10 Downing Street to keep the dent population in check, and now France is looking into getting a cat to rid of mice at the Elysée Palace. Since humans haven’t been able to keep the rodent population down, government officials believe that cats could help control the mouse population at the Palace, the official home of the French President.

Of course if France gets an official mouser, the race will be on to see who has the best mousers, England or France. Hopefully this won’t start a war between these two countries but at least if France adopts an official mouser, it can be one more example of how the French government is using their citizens’ tax money wisely.
