If your cat  gets stressed out easily, especially when going to the vet, there’s a solution courtesy of Whiskas, which sponsors the Cat Calm Radio station. The goal is to play music specifically designed to soothe a cat, which can be perfect to listen to while taking your cat to the vet.

David Teie composed the music targeted at cats. His songs familiar sounds like beats similar to the sound of suckling milk, played at the frequencies cats use to communicate with each other. Not surprisingly, researchers have found that cats respond better to his cat-specific tunes than to human music.

So tune into a cat radio station the next time you want to calm your cat down. Your cat will thank you for the music, but probably not for the trip to the vet no matter how much it may need it.
