Cats can’t talk (and if they did, they wouldn’t say anything) so you need to interpret their actions to understand what they might be trying to say to you. If your cat licks its fur off so it’s bald, this could be a sign of physical or emotional distress.

On the physical side, a cat could be hurting inside and licking the affected area might be its way of trying to deal with the pain. In that case, you should take your cat to the vet for an examination.

On the emotional side, your cat could be stressed out so you need to find ways to reduce your cat’s anxiety. That might include providing it with more toys and play areas so it can explore its surroundings and feel safe, especially if it’s a new home.

Cats need tender loving care so make sure you provide your cat with all the physical and emotional help you can.
