Your love for cats can make you vulnerable to scams. One unfortunate woman found this out the hard way when she found a breeder offering Maine Coon kittens. This woman sent the money and then the breeder claimed the cat needed pet insurance.
After paying for this pet insurance, the breeder told the woman the cat now needed vaccinations before flying out to her. Ultimately it turned out the breeder was taking the woman’s money and there was no kitten involved.
So be careful about sending money to strangers who may play on your emotions to con you. Even a cat wouldn’t do that to you.
