In the old days, kids used to play with physical objects simply because computers were too expensive and not portable enough. Nowadays kids often spend way too much time staring at their smartphone and not moving at all.

That’s why the International Health, Racquet & Sportsclub Association (IHRSA), a fitness industry trade association with support from Gympass, a company that delivers wellness solutions for businesses and employees, has published a book to teach kids to move more and get physical exercise.

Of course if you own a cat, you get plenty of physical exercise trying to move the cat off the keyboard, clean its litter box, or pick up fragments of valuable vases after a cat knocks them off the shelf. Still, getting outside and playing is one way to stay healthy and the active cat children’s book is one way to do it.
