Scientists have already proven that the presence of a cat can lower people’s anxiety and blood pressure. Now researchers believe that a drug used to treat cats could be used to help fight against the coronavirus in humans.

The cat drug works by blocking an enzyme produced by a bug called feline enteric coronavirus (FCoV). While this drug isn’t a vaccine, it is a treatment that can help save lives.

Of course any cat lover knows that cats would save the day. That’s why they deserve everyone’s entire liquid assets as a reward for existing.
