Many people love cats but don’t like cleaning a litter box every day. That’s why some people have tried to train their cat to use a toilet instead to minimize the cleanup hassle.
While toilet training a cat is possible, there’s also the risk of the cat falling into the toilet and getting wet. However excerpts say that cats should do what comes naturally, with means using a litter box and covering up their mess afterwards (or not, which is also what cats do naturally).
So if you want a cat, you should put up with the litter box as well. Perhaps get an automated litter box to minimize the hassle or simply hire someone to clean the litter box so you don’t have to do it yourself.
