The Internet was designed for cats despite all rumors that it was really designed by the government as a way to insure communication in the event of a nuclear war. Since the Internet, people have been posting pictures of cats and turning them into celebrities.
One of the earliest cat celebrities was dubbed Long Cat due to its long size. Between 2005 – 2006, Long Cat cemented a place in Internet history alongside the likes of Grumpy Cat. Unfortunately, Long Cat, whose real name is Nobiko, recently passed away at the page of 18.
