Chinese scientists have successfully cloned a cat for the second time. The first time was in 2019. This second cloned cat is called Ping An, whose name means “safety.”
The kitten was cloned from a mixed-breed house cat and weighed less than 1 lb with white fur, grey eyes, long hair and a flat face. Of course with an abundance of cats in the world, cloning a cat only makes sense to understand the cloning process, not to create more cats in the world.
