Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue got called in when people spotted a cat on a light pole 100 feet above a waterway. The cat apparently crawled out on to the light pole and seemed trapped there.
However, just as firefighters moved in to rescue the cat, the cat jumped back on the bridge and ran away. Despite their failed attempts to rescue the cat, at least the cat is safe on dry ground once more. Now they just have to hope the cat doesn’t get itself stuck on the light pole a second time around.
