When the men’s USA water polo team took on the Italian team, a black cat wandered by and tried to get into the action. That cat was apparently drawn to the sight of a ball on the screen. That caused the US governing body to praise the feisty feline’s efforts.
Writing alongside the video clip, they took note of the animal’s impressive moves, commenting “Cat immediately moves to open water. Smart!” Perhaps if the Olympics et more cats into the sporting events, more people would watch them. After all, how popular can race walking be without a cat?
