Actress Zoë Kravitz plays Catwoman in the upcoming “The Batman” movie. To get into character and provide authenticity, Zoë studied the way cats fight in real life, which she described as a mix of “martial arts and capoeira and a kind of feline, dance-like movement.”
Hopefully this style of fighting will make Catwoman an interesting character to watch. Of course, if the overall screenplay is weak and disjointed, no amount of acting can save it. Then again, if anything can appeal to people, it’s a cat, even if it’s a human impersonating a cat.
