A Florida cat named Jerry was recently sent to a shelter because its previous owner claimed that Jerry was “too affectionate” by constantly rubbing against her. Since that’s what cats do and that’s a sign of love, this person is obviously ignorant and uncaring.
Fortunately after arriving at the shelter, other people heard about Jerry’s plight and soon a new family adopted him. Hopefully this new family will appreciate Jerry’s affections and keep him safe and happy while his previous owner can live a life empty of affection, instead.
