When Holly Hancock, a keen sailor and law lecturer at the University of East Anglia (UEA), got a cat named Tilly, she noticed Tilly would follow her into the garden and try to climb into the canoe. When Tilly got older, Holly decided to take Tilly for a canoe ride.

Now Tilly enjoys the canoe rides around the Norfolk Broads at Horning. If you plan to take your cat out on the water, be sure to put a life jacket on it with handles to protect the feline if it falls overboard. Just as some cats enjoy walks outdoors, other cats like Tilly enjoy floating around the water to look at the scenery.
