Recently Hollywood had an unexpected hit on their hands with “Cocaine Bear,” which is a comedy about a bear that snorts cocaine and goes on a rampage. As silly as that premise might sound, it’s actually partially based on a true story.
Now there’a another animal that has wound up with cocaine in its system. An African Serval cat escaped from a car and run up a tree. When officials finally caught the cat, they discovered it had cocaine in its system. Fortunately the cat, named Amira, will now be cared for by the Cincinnati Zoo where it will likely be kept drug-free for the rest of its life.
