Many people can’t help but look at cat videos and cat pictures on the Internet. However, there’s a dangerous side of too much cuteness. A few years ago, the Islamic State spread propaganda images of jihadists playing with kittens in Raqqah, captioned in cutesy internet slang (“My Mewjahid protectz me” and “I Can Haz Islamic State Plz”).
Just as guns can be used for good or bad, apparently so can cuteness be used for good or bad. So the next time you see your cat acting cute, ask yourself if it’s being good or bad. Chances are good you’ll know the answer and that will make you realize how dangerous cuteness really can be.
