On March 7 in Denver, an accident spilled diesel oil on I-25. Fortunately firefighters rushed to the scene to clean up the hazmat incident, but they had an extra helper. An orange cat showed up and tried to lend a hand (paw) to paramedics and firefighters.

While the first responders didn’t need the orange cat’s help, one firefighter decided to adopt it and name it Hazi (short for Hazmat). So even if the cat couldn’t help clean up the accident, it at least found a new home so everyone is happy in the end.
