Cats normally like fish to eat. However an orange cat named Cashie had a betta fish friend named Violet who were both adopted in the home at the same time. Unfortunately when Violet died unexpectedly, Cashie took it hard and grieved.
So Cashie’s owner took the cat to the pet store so they could pick out a new betta fish. Although their first trip to the pet store didn’t result in a new friend, Cashie will likely go back until finding a new betta fish for a friend. How a cat became attached to a fish may seem strange, but it shows that cats have feelings too.
