Not everyone believes in evolution, but in China, some cats have been spotted with strange tufts of skin that actually have bone inside. These extra flaps of skin actually look like wings of some kind, which means cats may be evolving to fly since they don’t need thumbs if they have humans around who can open cans for them.

If the idea of a flying cat seems frightening, just think of how birds must feel at the thought of a flying feline chasing them down. Maybe if cats eventually evolve wings, they’ll also learn to evolve and be less annoying to take care of, although that evolutionary trait could take another million years to occur.
