Cats are known to be excellent predators, but what happens to a cat when it becomes the prey instead of the predator? That’s what happened in the African savannah when a Desert Lynx treed a Wildcat. As the Desert Lynx crept closer, the Wildcat decided to make a desperate leap for freedom from the top of the tree down to the ground.

Amazingly, the Wildcat hit the ground without hurting itself and ran away, leaving the Desert Lynx stranded in the tree with no meal to attack and munch on. If you think cats have nine lives, then this Wildcat just used up one of its lives to escape with its remaining eight.
