Some people love their cats and some people go out of their way to let you know how much they love their pets. In a strange new trend, people are getting tattoos of their pets, but to make this even odder, they’re getting tattoos based on their cat’s own hair.
A tattoo service in Switzerland creates ink from medically clean organic carbon extracted from either human or animal hair. Using this ink, the tattoo artist can inject it under a person’s skin to create a tattoo. That’s why Kathrin, who goes by the modelling name of Makani Terror, got a tattoo of her cat using the cat’s own hair for the ink.
