If you happen to be near Washington Park on Saturday, July 7, look for Cat-urday, a special event honoring people and their cats. Fans who purchase a special Cat-urday ticket will also receive a Catitude T-shirt. In addition, three dollars from every ticket sold will benefit the Humane Rescue Alliance, and information about adopting cats will be available outside the ballpark.
The cat-themed day was in response to the typical dog-themed day the ballpark offers. Just remember that even though it may be cat day, please don’t bring your cat to the ball park because your cat likely won’t enjoy the crowds and it’s not safe to have a cat running scared through the park.
