For thirteen years, Behemoth, named after the talking cat from the Mikhail Bulgakov novel The Master and Margarita, has lived at the Bulgakov House Museum Theatre in Moscow. That’s when a woman grabbed Behemoth and ran away.

The theft was reported to the police and people took to social media to look for Behemoth. Fortunately, the woman who took the cat likely got frightened and released the cat, which was found later. Now Behemoth is safe at the museum, but the thief is still at large. This goes to show that Russians love their cats too.
