Polish researcher, Wojciech Solarz, a biologist at the state-run Polish Academy of Sciences, made the mistake of declaring cats to be an alien invasive species because they kill over 140 million birds a year in Poland. Now this researcher has discovered it’s never a good idea to get cats, or their owners, mad at you.
People all over the world are questioning labeling cats as an alien invasive species. Fortunately, Wojciech emphasizes that he does not want cats harmed in any way, but he’s just pointing out that cats harm the environment. Hopefully after he’s done with his research, he’ll don ore research to determine that it’s never a good idea to get cats or their owners upset over the sanctity of felines.
